WELCOME TO SULLINS

Sullins Academy is a coeducational independent day school with approximately 206 students in preschool through eighth grade. The school sits on a 32 acre campus in a residential area.

Sullins was founded in 1966 by Rev. Charles E. Bledsoe and a group of visionary parents. From day one, our philosophy has been to develop the minds and character of our students, and we have done just that for 50 years.

Each student is unique and will learn in different ways. We challenge our students to push themselves, but we do so in an environment that is supportive, nurturing, and encouraging. We provide an environment where each child is known and can be met where they are. Sullins expects a lot from our students, and they deliver - everything we do here is to motivate our students to realize their potential.

Students at Sullins flourish. They are communicators. They are creative and critical thinkers. They are of strong character and have giving hearts. They are confident leaders. At the end of their eighth grade year, our graduates leave Sullins well equipped with the tools to learn, grow, and thrive in high school and beyond.
