Sarah Hampton, Middle School Science and Math Teacher, was announced as the grand prize winner of ORISE (The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education) "The Gold Goes" lesson plan
competition! Mrs. Hampton submitted her cross-curricular lesson regarding a country's population, per capita income, temperature and their effects on Olympic performance that her algebra class studied after the 2016 Summer Olympics. Her lesson plan was hailed as "outstanding" (our students thought so too!)
As the grand prize winner, she will be awarded a trip to the 2018 NCTM Conference, a one-year membership to NCTM, and an iPad with a classroom set of Plickers.
We are so proud of Mrs. Hampton and the hands-on, exciting learning she brings to our middle school students!

I was recently going through a detailed guide on MBBS in Russia 2026, and it really helped me understand the updated admission process, fee structure, and eligibility criteria for international students. Russia seems like a good option for those looking for affordable medical education with globally recognized universities. While exploring more, I also found some useful insights shared through Education Vibes that explain the overall process and important factors to consider before applying.
