1st through 8th Grade students discussed and performed dances from the countries they've been studying during our Passport Program presentations. Many of the classes hosted special guest speakers and enjoyed authentic cuisine from their country of study.

I liked how the Passport Program let students share dances, food, and stories from the countries they studied. For my school’s outdoor culture day, I searched for the best caps to find a comfortable hat for the afternoon performances. I remember feeling nervous before our group went on, but trying the food and watching other dances made it fun. Learning about another country feels more real when students get to share its culture together.
