

Sullins Students Shine at 2018 Talent Show
The annual Sullins Academy Talent Show was held Thursday evening. The show featured singing, dancing, a guitarist, a violinist, several variety acts, and plenty of fun. There were 26 acts, and we are so proud of each one of the students who participated in the talent show. The courage and confidence that these student show is impressive. Sullins MATHCOUNTS Success
This weekend, six Sullins Academy middle school students traveled to Lynchburg, VA to compete in the regional Mathcounts Competition. Sydney H., Jackson O., and Samuel S. represented Sullins in the team competition. Joy B., Evan D., and Aiden F. competed individually. Sarah Hampton, Middle School Science and Math Teacher, was announced as the grand prize winner of ORISE (The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education) "The Gold Goes" lesson plan competition!
